Need something to do? Why not visit the Sumpter Library, enjoy the Musuem and play chess! You can meet your neighbors, friends, or meet someone new! The Sumpter Chess Club is new and will meet at the Library every Saturday at 11 a.m. and on Wednesdays at 5 pm. Waiting for your turn on the board? Just hop on one of the Library's computers and play a game of chess with someone else, from just about anywhere in the world! Remember that Norman Rockwell-type picture of some old men playing checkers over a barrel in a General Store? Well, come on down,  meet a neighbor or friend and play a game! No need to be concerned about your playing level....beginners and champions, young and old, are welcome because it's not about winning or losing....just about playing the game! Everyone is welcome!
